One of our Affiliates major challenges is finding available lots at an affordable price that we can use for future Habitat homes. We prefer to build inside one of our towns where water and sewer services are available. This eliminates the need to drill a well and install a septic system. However, we will build elsewhere in the country so long as the county will issue a building permit.

The Site Selection Committee is responsible for purchasing lots for future builds.  Help from the community in locating available lots will greatly help us in our mission.

Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County is a non-Profit 501©3 organization and outright donations or donations of land at a reduced price may be tax exempt to the donor. Donors should see their tax advisor for advise.

If you know of any property that is for sale or have property that you would like to donated or sell to our Habitat Affiliate, please contact Charlie Kester, Site Selection Chairman at (H) 839-8376 or Craig Brighton , our Executive Director, at (W) (317) 272-1405.

Checks for donations of monies can be made out to "Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County" and mailed to our offices at 360 N State Route 267, Avon IN 46123. An acknowledgment of your donation will be mailed to you for your records.
