We plan to build
three houses during the 2007 building season.

After Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, our Habitat Affiliate looked
for ways we could help with the hurricane re-construction efforts in a meaningful
way. After some thought and planning, the
Board approved a plan to build and deliver a house package to D’lberville
Mississippi. With all the help of the community and the Avon police and
fire departments, 8 volunteers from Hendricks county delivered 2 houses to
D'liberville last October and erected them on foundations installed by local
people. The recipients of these two homes were very grateful for our
help
